Discussion: Is Firefox 3.0 The Best Web Browser Ever?

So if you haven't already heard, Firefox 3.0 was launched today (I'm currently writing this post from within it) and the buzz around it is tremendous! It's amazing what some simple marketing (i.e. "be part of a world record") can do, eh?

So do you think it is the best browser ever? So far it's memory footprint (my biggest issue with Firefox 2.0) is waaaaaaaaaay less then Firefox 2.0; I don't think I've gone over 64MB.

So what do you think? Post your comments below...

So... no more than 64MB eh? Would you monitor this from the "processes" tab in Task Manager? Right now, Task Manager says that my iexplore.exe is taking down 161MB. Are we talking about the same thing?

Yeah...we are. However, if I look at it now it looks like I've hit 100MB...boooo!

I upgraded it a little late and liked the performance improvements. Their JS engine is a faster.
